Remembrance Day, Monday 11th November, 2024

Remembrance Day has a special meaning for our organisation, which is proud to serve, supply and protect our Armed Forces.

At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them.

Armistice Day has been observed every year since 1919 with a two-minute silence at 11am on 11 November across the nation.  Armistice is Latin for to stand (still) arms.

Standing together with our colleagues across the Dreadnought Alliance in Remembrance, we will observe the two-minute silence at 11am.

We're taking time to pause, breathe and reflect on the service and sacrifices the Armed Forces make on our behalf. From peacekeeping missions to supporting the UK’s response to Covid-19, our Armed Forces perform incredible tasks every day.
