What you will be doing:
You will provide Financial Input, challenge and information at the PM/CAM monthly FOO reviews to empower stakeholder decision making;
- Entering and reconciling cost information into various project financial systems from business case approvals, options and change requests, ensuring a clear audit trail. Consistently monitor project cost spend against these approvals
- Challenging and interpreting supply chains cost data to support accruals and project forecasting. Produce accurate supporting data and inputs for the Annual Budget Cycle process in conjunction with PM/PCM, consolidating project data to produce the PCR forecast for the benefit of the whole delivery team. Oversee the collation of the Senior Manager Screening Packs
- Producing accrual and general journals and option proposals to ensure robust supporting evidence is included. Actively support the Cost Control Finance lead with any audit and compliance requests
- Support Estimators to develop cost models and assist in the production of Investment Appraisals project performance and analyse variances to plan, determine impact on the schedule and cost to complete the scope of work. Ensure consistency with IYM and EVM reporting
