Consultant Engineer – Combat Systems

We currently have a vacancy for a Consultant Engineer – Combat Systems (Technical Authority)

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting progress and highlight any interface and/or delivery programmes that place the Dreadnought Programme at risk
Design delegation for specified areas of the Combat Systems for Dreadnought (specific systems TBA), including requirement sign off and acceptance
Review and development of Combat system sea trials programme
Support the integration and assurance of the Combat Systems (CS) into the Dreadnought submarine. You will be responsible to the Alliance Deputy Chief Engineer (ADCE) for the management of the submarine CS design covering Functional, Spatial and interface aspects
You will be required to interact with the Combat Systems Delivery Team (CSDT) and provide assurance that the development of the CS meets its requirements, and that the product is fit-for-purpose
Initiation and/or review of design change documentation
