Would you like to play a key role in one of the UK's major Engineering programmes? We currently have a vacancy for an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Lead based at our site in Barrow.
As an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Lead, you will implement the Alliance EVMS Strategy and provide an EVM service to the Alliance Programme Controls Team and the broader Alliance. They will support the Cost Performance Manager and Programme Controls Managers with comprehensive EVM performance analysis, covering the scope of all Alliance Parties to enable an accurate and insightful programme view.
You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders across all three organisations to develop the EVMS which will be challenging and very rewarding, making a significant impact on the programme, now and for many years to come.
Your main responsibilities as an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Lead will involve:
Deputising for the EVMS Manager in line with the delegations and authority flowed down
Managing training activities to develop suitably qualified experienced personnel (SQEP) EVMS capability
Undertaking assurance reviews of EVM data received from parties
Maintaining an effective EVM Process ensuring the assurance and configuration management of the data
Supporting the integration of performance data from all Alliance Parties to provide a cross-functional coherent single point of truth in the EVMS
Working with Alliance colleagues across the project controls functions to ensure coherency of integration, analysis, interpretation and key messages
Monthly reporting including the supply of EVM aspects of project dashboards, associated analysis and recommendations
Supporting the utilisation of the EVM project controls toolset for detailed analysis
Supporting the development and maintenance (with IT support) of the EVM Cobra toolset capability
Liaising with the Parties to support delivery of timely data and information inputs to the Alliance-set specification
