Would you like lead on the maturing of Earned Value Management (EVM) for the Dreadnought Alliance and facilitate whole programme EVM analysis and reporting? We currently have a vacancy for an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Manager at our site in Barrow.

As the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Manager in the Dreadnought Alliance, you will be responsible for working with colleagues across the three Alliance Parties (BAES, Rolls Royce & MoD) to generate high quality analysis of progress and forecast against the Programme Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).

This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead on the development of the EVMS capability in support of the delivery the Dreadnought Class of Submarines to the Royal Navy. You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders across all three organisations (MoD, Rolls Royce and BAES) to develop the EVMS, which will be challenging and very rewarding, making a significant impact on the programme, now and for many years to come.

Your main responsibilities as an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Manager will involve:

Presenting clear and concise programme performance insights (based on detailed and complex information) to a range of programme stakeholders

Developing relationships with project controls and project management colleagues within BAES, RR, MoD (SDA) and the Alliance to drive joint understanding and clear communications with respect to project and programme performance

Contributing to formal audits (such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and Demonstrations Reviews) to determine the quality of earned value processes, activities and data

Defining the EVMS Strategy and future capability development roadmap

Driving the integration of performance data from all Alliance Parties to provide a coherent single point of truth in the EVMS

Monthly reporting including the supply of EVM aspects into the programme reporting suite, associated analysis and recommendations

Driving the utilisation of the EVM project controls toolset for detailed analysis

Developing and maintaining (with IT support) the EVM (Cobra) toolset capability

Driving continuous improvement on data quality and integrity, and where appropriate, providing support to Alliance Parties to achieve quality improvements
