Engineering Manager – Product Safety (Build Assurance)

We currently have a vacancy for an Engineering Manager – Product Safety

What you’ll be doing:

· You will support BAES-SM production of the safety Build Assurance Justification

· Be able to review and ascertain the appropriateness of the Safety Argument and Safety Evidence provided by BAE and ensure that the platform is being built to design intent

· You will liaise with the Barrow Safety Assurance Manager on any concessions where the Platform build differs from design intent

· Play a key part in acting as the MOD technical liaison with Platform and Nuclear Propulsion build committees

· You will help to provide the safety interface with the propulsion/reactor/ships/weapons Test Groups
