Engineering Manager Product Safety (OME Safety Management)

We currently have a vacancy for an Engineering Manager Product Safety

What you’ll be doing:

Checking and assuring the design and products produced by MOD key suppliers including BAE Systems for Combat Systems and OME (Ordnance Munitions & Explosives)
Participating and reviewing safety analysis, hazard analysis and safety case development for the submarine
Working with Subject Matter Experts in the MOD and across industry to assure safety of design and fitness for purpose
Building and presenting the Safety Case to the Naval Authority Group (NAG) for the submarine and its combat systems as safe for Royal Navy operation
Liaising with Product Environmental groups to build and present the environmental case for the submarine
