An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Material Planning Manager to join the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business in Derby.
What you will be doing:
You will be managing and understanding the potential impacts of assumptions, dependencies, and exclusions.
- Managing project change and project risks and opportunities within their area of responsibility.
- Leading the effective governance and maintenance of project reporting for their scope, assuring the delivery of supply chain and procurement activity is to time, cost and quality:
- Assuring the overall performance of their scope against the project requirements.
- Identifying, monitoring, and challenging on the management of known issues, risks, and opportunities within their scope.
- Reviewing and assuring proposed sub-contracts and working with stakeholders to ensure they meet programme requirements.
- Authorising (within delegations) / recommending to the PM the commitment of funding.
- Understanding the drivers of in-year spend and commitment activity within their area of scope and the key forecast longer term activities.
