We currently have a vacancy for a Principal Quality Engineer. As a Principal Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the running and operation of the Business Management System. Supporting the BMS Manager to ensure that the system operates effectively as well as providing Quality Assurance Advise to stakeholder and engineering teams.
As part of expanding team, this new role will provide the opportunity to have wide exposure to a network of stakeholders as well giving you the opportunity for a higher level of interaction with the company’s functional leads. Your main responsibilities as a Principal Quality Engineer will involve:
Responsible for operating the Business Management System (BMS), writing procedures and processes to support the BMS development.
To support development and implementation of the Alliance Business Management System (BMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, whilst ensuring that:
The BMS is compliant and consistent with the ISO 9001:2015 / JS940 framework
BMS maturity is managed and measurable across the Alliance organisation
Through assurance and continuous improvement, the BMS maintains effectiveness
The BMS delivers the Quality Strategy and Alliance Quality Objectives
Provide Quality Assurance advice and independent audit capability to the BMS / Quality engineering teams
What we are looking for in you:
You will be a skilled communicator, both written and verbal, possessing a good level of diplomacy and influencing skills to enable successful interaction with a range of stakeholders.
Self-motivated, you will have excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to deal with conflict resolution.
