As a Project Manager - Delivery, you will be working within an exciting new team, creating plans, assessing risks, initiating action, and collaborating across a varied stakeholder community within BAES, the MOD and partner organisations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the Dreadnought Programme and demonstrate your ability to take ideas, develop them into projects and turn integrated innovations onto advanced military platforms.
This role is very varied and enables you to gain further exposure across the business working with a wide range of stakeholders and teams including Engineers, Designers etc.
Your main responsibilities as a Project Manager - Delivery will involve:
Supporting the development of innovative opportunity projects across the Alliance
Building effective working relationships across the Alliance, and Nuclear Enterprise
Be the expert for DN opportunity process to support innovation in the dreadnought programme
Identification and scoping of high level benefits for new Opportunities on DN
Maintaining a update of the current opportunities and their status
Managing the funds and the funding process to ensure that all opportunities can access funds through the change process
Producing and maintaining project documentation such as Risk Registers and Milestone Plans for some of the Opportunities
LFE into projects or control accounts, advising on mitigations and engaging with Delivery Manager to mitigate wider occurrence
