- Leading the strategic communication plan for one of the UK's biggest engineering programmes. The new Dreadnought class of Submarines is coming soon and has long term consequences for the safety and security of our nation
- Coordinating of a very diverse stakeholder map including government secretariats, industry partners, extensive national supply chain, communities and the future talent required to deliver a programme that is set to run into the 2060s
- Providing communication strategies and services to senior leaders and staff, working with Industry and Government colleagues
- Working closely with the Dreadnought Programme Secretariat who will manage media communications and Ministerial Submissions via the approved governance routes – given the significance of this programme to Her Majesty's Government.
- Being responsible for the engagement strategy to help develop the high performance culture required to deliver a complex engineering programme safely and securely on time
- Driving internal communications and engagement that ensures the Alliance Programme Team effectively delivers the Alliance strategic priorities
- Being able to balance the security and political requirements with the desire to better publicise and educate others regarding the Dreadnought Programme
