The Cost Performance Team is a new part of the Alliance Project Controls Team, with the focus on providing insight on the critical cost drivers underpinning the success of the Programme.
As Senior Cost Performance Manager, you will be supporting the Dreadnought Alliance Project Controls Director in building and enabling an enduring cost performance management capability in line with best practice APM methodologies. You will also gain exposure to a wide stakeholder network both within BAE Systems and the Alliance partners.
We are currently operating a hybrid working model and, whilst location across the UK is flexible, sporadic travel to Barrow-in-Furness in line with Project requirements will be essential. Relocation support will be considered.
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Cost Performance Manager will involve:
Embedding the Alliance Project Controls Strategy to drive improved cost performance.
Providing day-to-day management and capability development of the project controls cost performance team.
Using benchmarking and working collaboratively with Alliance cost estimating teams to feedback cost performance trends into the basis of estimate.
Assuring relevant cost reporting data and driving continuous improvement in data quality and integrity.
Providing an agreed cost intelligence service which enables scrutiny, challenge and an understanding of the programme trends, performance to date, variances and forecasts.
Developing relationships across multiple organisations to drive joint understanding and clear communications with respect to cost performance data.
Developing the project controls cost performance team and supporting capability development with relevant training
