What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the cost analysis undertaken by the Alliance Cost team, providing challenge and agreeing a forecast of outturn for current year and an estimate of completion for full programme (EAC), whilst seeking to improve quality of data used in this analysis
- Assisting Cost Project Leader with cost outputs provided to Alliance Project managers (APM) and providing Subject Matter Expert advice as required, as well as attendance at project reviews and financial in year reviews
- Managing stakeholder engagement with those supplying inputs to and receiving outputs from the Alliance Cost team and leading resolution of problems and issues to facilitate timely and effective solutions
- Providing support and analysis into contract affordability discussions, ensuring value for money on all commitments, deputising for Cost Project Leader as necessary
- Supporting the maintenance of cost metrics for Alliance; producing and interpreting Earned Value Management (EVM) data where required
- Maintaining governance and compliance on work and reports submitted
