We currently have a vacancy for a Supply Chain Project Lead with hybrid working opportunities.
As a Supply Chain Project Lead, you will be responsible for working closely with the Dreadnought Alliance Supply Chain team to develop a master plan to close all capacity, capability and governance gaps. Supporting identified improvement work streams as appropriate
This role will provide you with the opportunity for to develop key relationships across our Alliance Partners, you will gain a deep knowledge of current capability and also be able to use your knowledge and experience to improve and shape the capability across the organisation.
Your main responsibilities as a Supply Chain Project Lead will involve:
- Supporting the development of the dreadnought Supply Chain Excellence Programme
- Ensures viable and sustainable solutions are developed that take into account process, systems, and people dynamics
- Lead assessments and analysis across process, people and systems (in line with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People) to identify improvement opportunities and a baseline performance against clearly identified KPIs.
- Building and managing project plans capable of delivering the required results in a timely manner throughout all stages of an improvement cycle.
- Utilise problem solving methodology to address root causes.
- Regular engagement with senior leaders to ensure that effective prioritisation is applied across improvement initiatives to deliver the business's strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies to ensure all key stakeholders support and champion any change initiatives.
- Coordinating and analyse the SC metrics, support Alliance partners with improvement actions plans and ensure Governance
- Coordinating Supplier Communications via; Annual Supplier conference, Coordinating follow up actions from Annual conference with Primes and tier 2's
- Overseeing Supplier communications to Increase awareness and importance of Dreadnought programme, criticality of Delivery/Quality/Cost performance
